The Family Prayer

Our Heavenly Father:
Teach us to find guidance from Thee in prayer.
Help us to lead unselfish lives,
To releive suffering and need with the sympathy that springs from brotherly love,
And to labour steadfastly at the several tasks which life may bring us.

For ourselves, we seek insight into the
Beauty in life, in nature and in Thy word,
Knowing that therein lie true
Happiness and life eternal.

Lead me, Lord, beside the still waters,
Give me the strenght I need,
And courage, with understanding.
